Women's and Co-Rec Finals Set



It will be Florida A&M and West Florida for the 3rd time in the last 3 months for the women's championship at 2:30pm. In Co-Rec it will be UNC Charlotte and Angelo St at 1pm. Stay tuned for championship game updates from the field.

Saturday Morning

60 degrees at 10am?? We must be in the tropics. Semi-final Co-Rec games are about to start here in Dallas. The wind is still blowing and will be a factor as we crown national champions in three divisions.

Weather Update

Temperatures have climb to the upper 50's here in Big D but the winds have also kicked up. Out of the south at 15 mph gusting to 25 mph. The winds are having an effect on the games.

Morning-Day 2

Well 36 degrees is warmer than 29 degrees and so we are off to a "warmer" start to today. We are headed for a high in the mid 50's. Co-Rec and Women's pool play are underway with Men's bracket play to follow. Will the top men's seeds advance today? We will be here to follow the games with updates.

Day 1 is in the books


Day one in Dallas at the NCCS Flag Football Championships is now history. Men's bracket play has been set with women's and co-rec finishing pool play tomorrow. Check out the results, schedule and brackets on the results page. We will be back tomorrow with more news from the fields.

Well the mercury is up to 43 degrees but the the sun is shining brightly on the action. Results are now being posted on the flag football website. You can go there to view by clicking on the link to the tournament web page on the blog side bar.

Weather Report

Now I am no Al Roker but the weather looks pretty good for the tournament. Practice gets underway on Wednesday and play begins Thursday morning. Your blogger will be there to cover all of the action. I added a link to the Dallas weather for the event on the sidebar.

Tournament time is almost here!

As of this posting 66 teams have registered for the 2008 tournament. Tournament staff is busy preparing schedules and other information. Practice times are available to request at the tournament website. Schedules will be released at the captain's meeting. Enjoy the holidays and get ready for the best flag football in the nation.
